I'm so glad you have an awesome endo too!
Mine is a goddess. She's got Type One too. She went to medical school when type one was still practically a death sentence, and proved everyone wrong...
anyway, my last appointment was scheduled with her assistant, and I was thee last patient of the day, and she knew I had been going to heck with my insurance, so when I got to the office, the receptionist says "McAfee wants to see you today, instead of your scheduled appointment with Bobbi"
of course then I have a moment of *OH CRAP* because I'm sure she has discovered something terrible in my labs (besides all the protein I am dumping because I've been exercising so much...you'd be proud!)
that is, until the receptionist goes... "while you are waiting, would you mind running to the coffee shop [next door] and grabbing her a latte? here's 10 bucks, get yourself one too!"

*sigh of relief!*
Then we sat and chatted about the woes of sushi rice, and then we bolused for our espresso drinks and talked about how many extra OmniPods I will need for my impending international trips...

My endo is like a Tuxedo T-Shirt, she means business, but she sure does know how to make a doctors visit fun!
